Recruitment Process – What to Expect

Joining the J&B Medical and Security Services Limited event medical team is an organised, supportive, and professional experience. Once you complete our application form and provide your supporting documentation, your application is reviewed by our recruitment team.

If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to attend a Selection & Assessment Day at one of our hub locations. This is your opportunity to meet members of our team, learn more about working with J&B, and demonstrate your clinical and interpersonal strengths.

Your Assessment Day Includes:

  • Structured interview with scenario-based questions designed to assess your decision-making, communication, and professionalism.

  • Clinical assessments tailored to your clinical grade (e.g., BLS / ILS / ALS plus at least one additional scenario).

  • Driving assessment where applicable (ECA/EMT/Paramedic roles), conducted on the same day wherever possible.

You will be allocated a time slot, and the full process typically takes 2–3 hours.

Induction at J&B

Applicants who are successful at the assessment stage will be invited to attend an Induction Day at one of our hubs. This session introduces you to J&B’s operational standards, policies, clinical governance, and event procedures. It is also a chance to meet other new team members and members of our management and clinical leadership teams.
